Elodie Vignon is the first woman in more than 55 years to undertake a complete recording of Claude Debussy’s piano works. The first double album in her Monsieur Debussy project, Soirs d’or, was released in January 2025 on the Cypres label. It was launched at Debussy’s birthplace in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, followed by appearances at the Flagey Piano Days in Brussels, and has since been presented across Europe. The second volume is due for release in 2027.

A close collaborator of the Cypres label since 2018, Vignon has earned consistent critical praise for the clarity of her artistic vision and the finesse of her playing (Musiq3, Radio Classique, France Musique, RCF Brussels, RCF Lyon, Radio Judaïca, Diapason, Classica, Crescendo Magazine, Larsen Magazine, Pianist Magazine Germany). With Debussy at the heart of her repertoire, she has explored both those who followed him—such as Claude Ledoux and Henri Dutilleux—and those who shaped his musical world, including Franz Liszt and Isaac Albéniz. Her discography also includes a recording with contralto Sarah
Laulan, as well as a concerto album with the Czech Virtuosi conducted by Eric Lederhandler.

Vignon enjoys long-standing collaborations with leading Belgian institutions, among them the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi, the Festivals of Wallonia, Château de Chimay, Midis-Minimes, Été Mosan, Flagey, and the Concerts de Midi in Liège. She performs regularly in France, her native country, and throughout Europe, with engagements in Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland. She has twice been invited to the Piano Festival and Masterclasses of Manila (2018 and 2020) and appears frequently in the United States. Highlights there include performances under Philippe Entremont at the Palm Beach Atlantic Piano Festival, where she played Chopin’s two piano concerti, as well as concerti by Mendelssohn and Saint-Saëns.

She began her studies at the Conservatoire in Lyon before meeting Daniel Blumenthal at a competition, which led her to join his class at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels in 2004. She graduated with degrees in both piano and chamber music, and later met Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri, who became an important mentor in shaping her artistic path.
